About The Outdoor Show
The Independent were tasked with helping to promote the Outdoors Show, a yearly event which boasts the UK's largest outdoors show packed with activities and features including sport celebrity talks, a Triathlon, indoor ice wall climbing, careers zone and slack lining to name but a few.
The Independent came to WeClick Media to recreate the standard floor plan for the event, in the form of a microsite. The aim was to draw attention to the key attractions and provide visitors with an extra layer of detail that would act as a teaser trailer for the show. The solution needed to encourage visitors to explore and discover more about the show.
As with any creative project we undertake, we supplied The Independent with some mock-up visuals to ensure we were going down the right track.
Once developed, the result was a microsite that was packed full of interaction and animation. The interface had a trendy, sporty look and feel that would appeal to it's target audience.
